Prianna and Remi: Popple

Remi is a business major and Prianna is a CS major at Boston University. They are the perfect example of the dream team. Popple won the fan favorite at the Womenx Innovators 1st Conference after an amazing pitch!

Popple is how college students build communities and go to events. Our mission is to create in-person safe spaces at local events and activities, so students feel more comfortable getting out there and making connections. Popple is a marketplace that connects student communities with local events for them to attend. Users can explore events and search by their school or their interests. Then, they can select a community to join that event with. Each community has a profile page with interests and a bio, but members are anonymous. From there, all the community members meet at the event, connect with new people, and have a good time.
